Determined to create a solution, she sketched out an idea that would change the game for the curly-haired community. In 2015, the first TRESS prototype was born—a hat designed to celebrate curls, not compromise them. The buzz was instant. Laticia quickly discovered she wasn’t alone in wanting a hat that embraced and enhanced natural textures. By 2017, TRESS had evolved into a patented, perfectly designed baseball hat made just for curls—and it became an instant favorite.
